Ich kann dir durchaus nachfühlen! Ich war ebenfalls mit einem Laufkollegen am Virgin Runners Halbmarathon am Start… Und ich habe auch vergebens auf das gewünschte “Rollen” gewartet, mein Körper wollte sich an diesem Tag einfach nicht aufs Laufen einstellen!!

Bei Km 16 musste ich meinem Laufpartner gar sagen, dass er einfach gehen soll, damit ich die restlichen Km bis ins Ziel in meinem noch möglichen Tempo fertig laufen konnte. Ich habe dann die Ziellinie mit 1:31:53 überquert und mein Kollege gar mit 1:29:41.

Kannst dir ja etwa vorstellen was für ein schei.. Gefühl ich hatte nach dem Halbmarathon? Habe schon angefangen an mir zu zweifeln ob ich Ende Monat überhaupt in Zürich an den Start gehen soll. Aber zum Glück war dieser Halbmarathon ja nur ein Training resp. Vorbereitungslauf für den kommenden Zürich Marathon. Und mir bleiben ja auch noch ein paar Tage um weiter zu traineren und das nötige Wettkampfgefühl für Zürich zu finden!

Schade, dass es nicht so lief, wie gewünscht. Aber du kannst dir ja nichts vorwerfen, da du keine “offensichtlichen Fehler” wie einen zu schnellen Start oder ähnliches gemacht hast. Es war einfach nicht mehr drin, wer weiß schon weswegen.

Das ist zwar schade bei einem Vorbereitungslauf, aber du hattest ja auch schon andere Resultate. Wollen wir hoffen, dass du am entscheidenden Tag wieder einen guten hast

Hei Rico, erstmal Gratulation zum neuen Design deines Blogs, gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut.
Wenn die Tagesform nicht passt, dann gibt es eben solche Trainings oder Wettkämpfe. Ich stelle aber fest, dass du damit relativ locker umgehst. Das ist genau das was es jetzt braucht. Konzentriere dich weiter auf die Vorbereitung für den London Marathon, denn da gilt es in Top Form zu sein.

Hey Mann, solche Tage gibt’s. Bleibt die Erkenntnis, dass solche Tage nicht der Massstab für die momentane Verfassung sind und schon gar nichts aussagen über die Möglichkeiten im Marathon in ein paar Wochen. Die Schmerzen,die Du diese Woche hattest sind normal. In diesem Alter musst Du einfach damit rechnen. Es geht gegen die 50!! Solange Du nicht vergisst, bei jedem Km den roten Knopf auf der Pulsuhr zu drücken…. Stefan
